Stephanie & Michael . . .

. . . were married Saturday, September 5, at the Van Hoosen Farm - part of the Rochester Hills Museum in Rochester Hills, MI.  This historic farm was the perfect backdrop on what couldn't have been a more beautiful day - for this fabulous couple's wedding.  We had some gorgeous light to toy with behind the camera, and did our best to take full advantage of it!  

Stephanie and Michael were a real pleasure to work with, as was their wedding planner Erika from EcoPosh Events.  Erika and her team do beautiful work and their attention to detail was more than clear.  After a meaningful ceremony that included a serenade by the groom, having put his vows to Stephanie to music, the party moved to the Crofoot in Pontiac, MI.  What an incredible venue for a reception!  Stephanie and Michael planned a great evening for their friends and family, not the least of which included some incredible live music (by a band I will link here soon.) :)

Matt & Sarah . . .

. . . were married Saturday, August 22 at The Darby House - a gorgeous wedding and banquet facility located on the grounds of the picturesque Galbreath Estate in west Columbus.  We only recently met Matt and Sarah, so wedding and photography plans were a bit of a whirlwind over the last several weeks.  Sarah has only lived in Columbus for about a year - having moved here from Ann Arbor, MI to be part of a church plant.  And Matt recently relocated here from California, to start his new life with lovely Sarah as his bride. But plans came together beautifully, and we felt privileged to be part of their wedding day.

Noel & Rita . . .

. . . were married Saturday, August 15 in the small town of Mt. Blanchard, OH - a serene setting for Noel and Rita's special day.  Naturally, the event attracted the couple's closest friends and family, including even the pastor from Rita's childhood who had since retired.  From the special song recorded by Rita's father and played during the lighting of the unity candle, to the surprise Rolex Rita purchased for Noel as a wedding day gift, to the series of dance-offs that took place late that night at the reception, the day was full of great memories and good times.  Congratulations Noel and Rita, and thanks again for choosing us to document your wedding day.  Enjoy this sneak peek into your wedding photos and remember to click any image you want to see larger!

Columbus Bridal Expo - a Success!

Yesterday we spent the day meeting new brides and hanging out with other wedding vendors like Griffin's Floral and Event Design and make-up artist MelissaRoshan at the Columbus Bridal Expo hosted by Claiborne Productions.  It was great to see our friends Chris and Julie from Blue Skies Wedding Productions and the fabulous cake designer Alice's Piece of Cake!  With two fashion shows, cake tastings, and photo booth fun, this event is always action-packed.  Energy ran high yesterday while nearly 600 brides and their guests worked their way from one booth to the next, meeting vendors, getting ideas, and making plans for their 2010 weddings.  

We're thankful for the brides we met yesterday!  We've already begun to receive inquiries and requests for meetings, from brides interested in the 10% savings we're offering to any couple who books with us by October 1, 2009.  So email or call today to book your 2010 wedding, and take advantage of the hundreds of dollars you'll save by booking early! 

Phoebe & Brad . . .

. . . were married, Friday August 7 at the Crowne Plaza in Columbus, OH.  Phoebe booked with us over a year ago, and has been a delight to work with since the beginning.  She's bubbly, energetic, and sweet - and absolutely lights up when her man Brad is close by. :)  Every detail of their special day was beautifully put together, so you can imagine the fun we had documenting the day in photographs.  The wedding party cooperated with all our crazy ideas, and we captured some great moments because of it!

Johnel & Bernardo...

...were married on Saturday, July 25 at Villa Milano.  You may remember this couple's engagement session last fall at scenic and family-friendly Creekside Gahanna.  Johnel, Bernardo, and Armario made a real impression on me last October, so I was eager to be part of their big day this summer.  And the day did not disappoint!  I met up with Bernardo and the guys and his hotel room early in the day, and was laughing from the time I stepped into the room.  Amy enjoyed her time with Johnel and the girls while make-up artist extraordinaire MelissaRoshan pampered the bride and her beautiful mother.  The ceremony was one of the most meaningful we've witnessed this summer, and the dinner reception that followed was electric with both sentiment and celebration.  In fact, Johnel's father personified both these things - first by his articulate and moving toast before dinner, and then by his unbelievable moves on the dance floor!  Seriously folks, following this guy around with the camera that night was easy to do.  But - he was not to be outdone by his daughter, the beautiful bride with the unforgettable smile you see here.

Brandy & Brian . . .

. . . were married Friday, July 17 at the The Columbus.  The lush rooftop patio of this Renaissance Hotel was the perfect backdrop for this fabulous couple's wedding!  With gorgeous blue skies surrounding us, and the sounds of the city serenading us, Brandy and Brian tied the knot and started what promises to be a great new life together.  We feel privileged to have worked with these two and have really enjoyed getting to know them!  The things we loved about this wedding are too many to name, but a standout memory of the day was the time we spent on the party bus with the bride and groom and all their attendants.  We spent a few hours working our way through the city and taking photos at the couple's favorite Columbus locations.  And in the process, got to know their groomsmen and bridesmaids and enjoyed a lot of laughs together.

Aimee & Jared . . .
